Privacy Policy

What data we collect

• Account. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email, and profile photo.
• Content you create. Initiatives, descriptions, photos (including AI-generated before / after images), organization profiles, updates, pledges, and contributions.
• Location. The coordinates you specify yourself for initiatives and organizations (map pins, city, address). If you scan a banner and allow location access, we store an approximate location (accurate to about a kilometer) to count local support.
• Notifications. Your email and device tokens for push notifications (in the app and the browser).
• Technical data. Basic information about your device and browser (for example, the user-agent) to run and secure the service.

How we use data

• To show your initiatives on the map and in the feed, send relevant notifications, generate before / after visualizations, prevent spam and abuse, and improve the service. We do not sell your data.

Who we share it with

• Only the services needed to run the platform: Google and Apple (sign-in), Google Gemini (generating before / after images — we send the uploaded photo), AWS (file storage), Neon (database), Resend (sending emails), Expo (push notifications), Mapbox (maps).

Public nature of content

• Keep in mind: initiatives, organizations, photos, and profiles are public by design — you share them so others can see and get involved.

Storage and security

• Data is stored for as long as your account exists or as long as it's needed to run the service. We take reasonable measures to protect it, but no service on the internet is completely secure.

Your rights

• View and edit your profile and content.
• Manage notifications on the "Notification settings" page.
• Delete your account along with the associated data — just write to us.

Changes

We may update this policy. We'll notify you of significant changes in the app.
