Child Safety Standards

Last updated: 26 June 2026

Numo.City is a civic platform where people create initiatives for their city and organizations offer help to make them real. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page describes our standards and how we enforce them.

Our zero-tolerance commitment

We prohibit any content or behaviour that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors. This includes CSAM, grooming or solicitation of minors, sextortion, trafficking, and any attempt to use the service to facilitate harm to children. Violations result in immediate removal of the content, a permanent ban of the responsible account, and reporting to the appropriate authorities.

Prohibited conduct

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.
  • Sexualization of minors, including in text, images, or links.
  • Grooming, solicitation, or any sexual communication directed at a minor.
  • Sextortion, trafficking, or endangerment of a child.
  • Linking to, advertising, or facilitating access to any of the above.

How we prevent and detect abuse

  • All user-generated content can be reported in the app using the Report action available on initiatives, organizations, updates, proposals, and user profiles.
  • Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, which can remove content and permanently ban accounts.
  • Users can block other users so they no longer see their content.
  • Accounts found to engage in CSAE are banned and blocked from signing in.

How to report CSAE

If you encounter content or behaviour that endangers a child, please report it immediately:

  • In the app: use the Report action on the content or profile and choose “Sexual or explicit content” or “Illegal activity.”
  • By email: child-safety@numo.city.
  • If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

How we respond

We act on CSAE reports promptly, typically within 24 hours. When we confirm a violation we remove the content, permanently ban the account, preserve the relevant evidence, and report to the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via its CyberTipline and/or the relevant authorities in Ukraine and other jurisdictions, as required by applicable law.

Minimum age and compliance

Numo.City is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We comply with applicable child-safety laws in the regions where the app is available. These standards are reviewed and updated as our service and the law evolve.
